Re: Table Settings
Absolutely gorgeous.
Re: Table Settings
Gorgeous indeed. What's the glassware? (I have a little bet on with myself - we'll see if I'm right.)
Re: Table Settings
The glassware is Lenox Clarion hand-blown crystal. Still have a few with original sickers.
Re: Table Settings
Outstanding in every detail. What is the flatware?
Re: Table Settings
I believe the flatware looks like Jens Quistgaard's Odin line for Dansk.
Re: Table Settings
Right about the Odin, Scott. But I haven't figured out the pointy knives. And Craig hasn't answered my private question. It resembles a very rare Dansk pattern called Palmyra, but I've found only a few pieces and never any knives. The handles split easily because they are make of wood. But they are very special.
Re: Table Settings
The pointy knives look to me like a Japanese production ... I see them quite frequently in thrift stores, and an ex had the same set. Danish inspired for sure. I wish I remembered the manufacturer's name.
Re: Table Settings
The rosewood-handled knives are Mode Danish by Sheffield. I also have a few serving pieces. They are very similar to another set I have with (I think) walnut handles which is Town & Country by Washington Forge. I have another Mode Danish set with pearlescent handles. These are fairly common on ebay and at thrift stores and estate sales.
Re: Table Settings
Hi Diane - I didn't see anything from you in my mailbox?? Email your question to mccormickstudio@yahoo.com. Thanks!
I 've seen the Dansk Palmyra and Fjord and love them both but don't have any.
Re: Table Settings
Perfect. Great fireplace too.
Re: Table Settings
Love the candlestick piece, too! Do you know who produced it?

Re: Table Settings
Hi Seibel fan. It is by Laur. Jensen Wooden Ware. I posted my backstamp here.
