Stoneage Modern

Zanesville Stoneage Modern colors

At Mike's request, here is the ZSC Stoneage Modern pot I found this weekend, along with some other glaze colors. All three are shape number 7005. The "7000" series feature straight vertical sides with a 45-degree angle cutting in at the foot.

In the foreground is the glossy terracotta-ish color I mentioned not having seen before; on the left is a glossy greenish-grey glaze with bright cobalt blue speckles (I believe this glaze is called "Sandstone"); on the right is a glossy foamy white. I bought the Sandstone glazed pot because this is the foamiest and most speckled variation I've seen in this color -- quite spectacular in person.

What do you think .. the beginnings of a one-of-a-color collection?

zsc colors

I wonder if the terra-cotta colored one is a thin-glazed version of the light brown. I've seen it in various consistencies.

Possible

I suppose it is possible, Craig. It seems much more orange to me than the variations of light brown I've come across, but I'm definitely no expert.
