Salem Freeform Hopscotch Turquoise Set
Salem China. Free-Form. Hopscotch Turquoise. Viktor Schreckengost.
This is a mixture of 2 sets, one from 1956 and the other marked 1962. It was apparent that the plates from 1956 were a bit heavier than those from 1962.
In this set, I found two butter dish bottoms without lids. Anyone with an extra lid in good shape? Also, have two good sugar bottoms that need a couple of lids in good shape.
Very nice.
Nice collection, Mike. Remember your collecting friends when you have to sell off those extras.
BTW- I'm the admin for the Viktor FB page. Feel free to cross-post this pic.

Butter base
I too have a butter lid without it's mate. I had to purchase another Salem line that used the same shape butter dish, but the glaze doesn't match. Let me know if you ever have butter-bottom sale!
That's interseting about 1962, I didn't know the line ran twice, or (if continuously) as late as '62.. good to know. Hopscotch Turquoise is one my pet collections. I still need to get my hands on the cruets.
