Russel Wright Piano. Vintage News. 1933.
The attractiveness of Russel Wright's new piano was said to be related to its 'proportions': the instrument's styling--rounded corners of square legs--makes it appear smaller that what it actually is. The piano is devoid of ornamentation. The piano legs are thin and square and are connected at the bottom by wood that appears to be the same size as the leg. The piano stool complements the piano. An excellent photo is shown of both the piano and stool. Donald Deskey is said to have also designed a piano at this time.
