Navajo, another RC we have

Navajo, another RC we have in common ;-{)  and one of those quirky, stubborn patterns that you think you would occasionaly see in sets, yet I only come across pieces one at a time.  Really dig the coffee pot...nice find.

Navajo

You're right Scott, I don't come across Navajo very often at all either. I've never seen a bunch for sale at one time. In fact, what you see in this picture is everything I have, it's just a mini-collection.

I wonder who this decoration was indended for, originally. Maybe batchelors, minimalists, or people who are afraid of color? There's something about it I really like, but it doesn't seem like a pattern a housewife would see at the store and be excited to purchase. Maybe there's not much out there for us find. I thought it looked it looked like piano keys the first time I saw it. The Melody Gray patten is a little bit more happy. On the plates, the decoration goes around the egde in a circle and looks a little bit like flower petals.

Anyway, I would love to see your collection... get your camera out!

Hardly a collection, yet.

Hardly a collection, yet.  I can't seem to find an intact sugar...and if I could just find place settings.  They seem to be the rarest.  Here's a few things I didn't see in your post.

Sweet... I don't believe I have ever seen a little Navajo tabbed bowl. Thanks for the pic!
