Raymor Modern Stoneware, Avocado

Raymor Modern Stoneware Avocado Green butter dish. Does it get any better than this? This Ben Seibel design debuted in 1952 and was manufactured by Roseville and distributed by Raymor. The line has been called Roseville Raymor by collectors for
years. It is now more appropriately referred to as Raymor Modern Stoneware (RMS is the collector abbreviation) its actual line name.
Avocado Green cup and saucer. This same shape was used in the Pfaltzgraff line called Country-Time(TM), also designed by Ben Seibel.
Individual casserole. Each piece of Raymor Modern Stoneware is a sculptural work of art and displays very well. The glaze
decorations in this line are striking and masterfully executed. They bring the shapes to life. While these colors (see below and other pages) are not from a typical mid-century modern palette, they are certainly compelling to the modernist. They go equally well with mission style decor.
