Post-Modern Porcelain

Marek Cecula Sugar, Creamer & Stand

Hopefully a second "post-modern" post won't result in expulsion from the group.  Marek Cecula is or was the head of the Department of Ceramics at the Pratt Institute in NY and has/had a gallery in NY (Contemporary Porcelain).  Originally from Poland he now divides his time between Poland and NY.  It may be a stretch but I thought that any group that appreciates Zeisel, Wright et al. would at least find a post of a 1986 contemporary creamer/sugar bowl/tray set interesting.  Unfortunately for us the tea pot was not included.

Re: Post-Modern Porcelain

Post-modern absolutely qualifies to be on Modish! A car only needs to be 25 years old to qualify as an antique. Perhaps the same rule applies to dinnerware and pottery!
