Great piece. Just picked up two floor lamps by him in the same design. Is your dome is slightly soft and thick resin/plastic? Mayen's partner was Ed Kauffman Jr. who inherited Wright's Fallingwater hom.

The shade is metal. I was thinking of painting the base black, because it is missing some chrome. The design is very nice. I guess it dates from the 70's.
