Ak-Sar-Ben Ware dinnerware

A few pieces of Ak-Sar-Ben Ware dinnerware which was manufactured by the Ak-Sar-Ben Pottery Company in Nebraska in the late 1940s (thank you Mike Pratt for your excellent reference books!). I used to live less than 50 miles from Fairbury, Nebraska so was intrigued to discover it was the home of the Ak-Sar-Ben pottery after it moved there from Lincoln, NE. I've also posted a backstamp and foil label photo.

It was also made in a brown, caramel colored glaze on the exteriors with the chartreuse interiors.  Very hard to find and I think we bought up what there was to be had.  It chipped easily, and often, so wasn't useful for daily usage.
