Haeger's Gold Tweed seems to be near universally reviled, but I kind of like it. The two vases are "S-ware".

The form of this bowl is amazing! I consider it a very lucky find.

hyalyn 211 / drip-glaze vase

I have been told that this is very early hyalyn production--1947 or 1948. The high gloss drip glaze is on a chocolate brown matte body.

The markings on the bottom are obscured by the glossy white glaze, but I believe it reads "hyalyn 261".

hyalynvase.jpg
hyalyn P-19 vase

The vase is just about 20" tall, so the "19" probably refers to the height. I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw it sitting on the floor in a St. Pete shop.

This bird is unmarked. Does anyone have any information? Some thought went into the design and it has a high quality matte glaze.
