This is another of my mother's items - a shallow bowl, 11" across with a fabulous star pattern on a blue background. She bought it in the early 50's

I bought this at our local auction room last week together with a glass decanter by Strombergshytten having only seen a photo online. I was very pleased when I picked it up Monday.

Two gorgeous beech and elm dining chairs from Ercol, originally in High Wycombe but recently moved to Princes Risborough.

This mug has been around since I was a child. My mother used it for pencils!

Here are a couple of Ercol chairs. The design dates back to the 60's though I think these may still be in production.

I have included this little item because I think it deserves more credit than it gets!

This is a single setting plus serving spoon (middle) of a large set (over 50 pieces) I found at a carboot sale in the 90's. It came with the original catalogue and bill of sale for over £400/$600.
