Marshall Studios

Luck or Fate

A good find: This is the handmade tile address plaque from the Home Accent Shop at Marshall Studios - the shop connected to the studio where they sold their wares. Later, 105 Newlin became the address for Marshall Studios as well. Yes, I was excited to find this. It is resting on a handwoven dossal by Jane Martz. Marshall Studios added a loom in the mid-1960's and Jane made dossals, tapestries, pillows, lampshades and other handmade fabric wares.

A great story...

and a great find. Congratulations!

Is that a table under the dossal and tile address plaque? It's fabulous!

I have had some great Marshall Studio finds through the years, but I usually give them to a couple of friends who live in Indiana. It's really wonderfully designed and beautifully made.
