Re: Latest modish Color Scheme
No guesses? The pattern's colors include a chartreuse-avocado green, blue with maybe a hint of green, brown, and yellow on a speckled white background.
Re: Latest modish Color Scheme
I am guessing Metlox Freeform?
Re: Latest modish Color Scheme
Bingo! Fantastic guess. I thought for sure it would be a little bit more of a stumper. Way to go. Do you collect Metlox Freeform?
Re: Latest modish Color Scheme
It was a bit of a challenge, but the brown and chartreuse kind of tipped me off.
My Metlox obsession began around 1985 when I purchased a California Mobile water pitcher at a flea market in NYC. At the time, I had no idea about Poppytrail pottery or its history. Since then, the scope expanded to include Aztec, Contempora, Navajo and Freeform. Even made a few temporary diversions into Del Rey and Confetti territory! After all these years, I have to say my favorite pattern is Contempora - I think it is the most striking with its matte finish body and simpler color palette. I love Aztec too for many of the same reasons.
