Inge Lise-Kofoed's Alien Madonna plaque for Royal Copenhagen
OK, it's my last trip to Europe for a while.
And here we have beauty and the beast to be sure.
I call this Alien Madonna - it certainly is an alien figure, but it seems the alien took adornment cues from the singer Madonna. It's so monstrous, I just have to like it - a whole lot! This tile/plaque is 10.5 inches by 5.5 inches. This is not an area of great expertise for me, but here's my sense of the reverse: Inge Lise-Kofoed's design mark on the lower right; the manufacturer mark (oval, triangle, 3 squiggly lines on top of DENMARK) makes this part of the Aluminia line for RC. The 'fraction', 169/2911, is surely some design number, but it remains a heiroglyphic for me - can someone else explain this better or have a sense of how it's all interpreted? Open to all suggestions and corrections!

hi rick maybe this will help? really a nice piece!!!
http://www.jamiri.dk/aluminia-mark.htm
the sign in the corner is the artist sign
if there is an x under the r of Denmark its from 1968
if it is an u its from 1961
the first number is supposed to be the form number
the second the decoration number
