Re: Harmony House

Yes,  I just got a couple of things and couldn't resist taking a picture immediately! I was surprised to see the familiar shape of the casserole (Salem Free Form, right?)... and the the sugar bowl is a shape I had not seen before.... so I was feeling all "whoopiieee, yay!" and got out that camera.

Re: Harmony House

Nice groupiing.  Somewhere I have a teapot with the same decal decoration.  If I recall correctly, it was marked Stanford Potteries, Sebring, Ohio.  It had quite a bit of gold decoration as well.  I will endeavor to locate it and post a photo.

Re: Harmony House

What a fantastic group.  I have a single dinner plate and have been looing for more pieces since I acquired it nearly twenty years ago.  I'm just not hitting the right estate sales or antique stores!

Re: Harmony House

That sugar bowl comes with two different lid handle designs.

The cereal bowls have the oddest little handle on their edge, most of mine have at least some chipping.

The coffee pot to this set really looks like more of a pitcher and the oddest part is the lid, it falls off very easily when pouring.

I have promised for two years now to take photos of my collection and I have yet to do it. Part of the issue is that so many of my pieces are in storage! Sad, really.

As for the Stanford Sebring versions (Assuming they just shared the decals with HH,) I have the cookie jar, a covered small rectangular casserole dish and a sugar bowl, creamer, and teapot.

I know, I know . . . pointless without photos!

I'll also add that I have been collecting this pattern for well over 20 years and it's extremely difficult to find. I have been to antique shops, antique malls and flea markets all over the country as well as having set up notifications on Ebay since they first started offering the service, and it's very rare for pieces to come up.

Finally, I am EXTREMELY covetous of your salt and pepper! Never seen them! Desperately want them! My "holy grail" would be a butter dish, but I don't even know if one exists.

Beautiful photo, thanks for sharing.
