Century Fern
Hall's (Hallcraft) Century, Fern, Eva Zeisel 1956.
I don't know the story of the undecorated casseole, but I have one with a yellow lid too. I would expect the patten on the side, but it's quite nice without it. Anyone have info about that?

Fern
The blue lids strike me as cool and refreshing -- like everything else about this photo. These Century shapes are fantastic. 1956 was a very good year.
I don't have any info about the undecorated casserole with the blue lid but I've seen similar pieces. I wonder if it was an option for retail customers of the day to mix and match open stock pieces?
Century White
The Century shape did come in White. I am not sure if the lids where white also, but it would make sense to me they were; could be a married piece. Its great looking no matter what!
