Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Fascinating!
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Have you ever turned it to different configurations? We found one of these about 7 years ago and still love it. Congratulations.
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
You bet. I think I have configured it every which way. I am a huge Mephis fan and this comes close.
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Favorited immediately. Very cool. If you're inclined, would you share pics of some of the different positions? How many could you come up with?
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Thanks for your comments. Just picture each shape being able to spin and flip. The shapes are endless. I did not take photos of the configs unfortunately.
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Fun! It's kind of like an industrial Rubik's Cube.
Re: Z-Lite Post-modern Lamp
Sure is. I think there's a similar snake like hand puzzle that may have inspired this lamp, or visa-verse. An eBay buyer claims the first designed Z-Lite was 1968, but that just doesn't add up to me. This reeks of the 1980s, and was in fact designed in '84.
