Scent Bottle

Silver perfume bottle
This is another piece I made as a student in 1978.
The two spherical containers are made of dental plastics (used for dentures - alcohol resistant). They sit in a silver 'slab' and are kept in place with stainless steel springs. There are two purfume applicators made of silver rod with coloured resin tops. The silver slab sits on an acrylic base which has silver rods running through - sort of continuing the line from the top with the coloured resin re-appearing too. There is also an acrylic line running down the outside linking the clear plastic sheres with the clear acrylic base.
In contrast to the silver tea service shown previously, this was one of the quickest design resolutions. It took just a day. But it took a lot longer to make it!
