Trio of Metlox Navajo-Shape Pitchers
Metlox Potteries. Navajo. Bob Allen/Mel Shaw. Golden Scroll creamer, Pepper Tree milk pitcher and Navajo water pitcher (l to r).
These pitchers have the Navajo shape in common but represent three different Metlox dinnerware lines. Navajo was introduced in 1956, Pepper Tree in 1957 and Golden Scroll in 1962.

They are very stoic looking!
Re: Metlox
It's a great photo composition, Clyde. I enjoy how you demonstrate the muted color (and size) variations against such a bold backdrop. It's unexpected and yet works well. Nice!
The introduction of handle rectangularity is also unexpected for the mid-fifties. It foreshadows sixties' handle architecture.
Re: Metlox
Sweet! You've outdone yourself, Clyde. Keep 'em coming!
