Let's go Dutch!
Submitted by wadogum on Mon, 08/15/2011 - 7:39pm
Dansk turquoise dutch oven
Jens Quistgaard Kobenstyle Dutch oven. 4 inches tall and 9 inches across.
Weekend find. And fits right into my color scheme. It was really rough and dirty. Cleaned up well. This oven was well used.

Re: Let's go Dutch!
Lucky find! I've been aware of these for quite a while, but recently something clicked in my head, and now Turquoise Kobenstyle is my latest obsession... within a short period of time I've acquired 3 sizes of these (they stack very nicely), a wood-handled saute pan (in mint condition), a wood-handled skillet, and the large "paella pan" (or buffet server, depending on who you ask). I actually prepared paella in the paella pan this past weekend for a dinner party- the Kobenstyle was a big hit with my guests, and was literally the center of attention (on my table) at the dinner!!
Re: Let's go Dutch!
It's easy to see why. I first saw this design in yellow here on Modish, and fell in love with the design. When I found it in Turquoise,it had to come home with me!! I want more!

Lovely! And the color is outstanding!

The pot top is designed to work as a hot plate, so I've read.
