Hand-Decorated Ashtray
This hand-decorated ashtray is marked "Jeanne" on the bottom and was made by Gorbutt Bowman in Topeka, Kansas in the late 1940s.

A lot like Sascha Brastoff... I have a ceramic "uplight" lamp from the same period, which is unsigned and has a very similarly worked leaf design. I've always thought my lamp was an unsigned Brastoff, and have seen only one other on the Internet. Interesting.
