In Memoriam
Eva Zeisel passed away today at the age of 105. She was an inspiration to me as an extraordinary designer and as a person with a joyful will to live life to the fullest. She will truly be missed.

Eva's love of ornithological shapes was evident throughout her career in both abstracted and readily-apparent form.

A terrible loss - 49 days of prayer to guide her thru the Bardo - she is lucky to transform - we are lucky since her genius lives on for us.

It's been neat over the last few years for me to see modish members AtomicScott, mpratt, steveminne, (and others probably?) in photos with Eva, so I know this is not just a calendar event for many here. My condolences go out to those of you who knew her personally.
