Donna Polseno Female Nude Vase White

Donna Polseno Female Nude Vase White
This and the other vase I am posting were perhaps produced a iittle late, (my guess is late 1980s) but they are two recent finds that I really liked and wanted to share (and hear other members thoughts on). They are signed on the base, incised in the clay "Polseno." This piece stands 12" tall.
Following is a short bio-sketch, copied from her website:
Donna Polseno was born in Connecticut, where she grew up fascinated by
her father's work as a painter and illustrator. When she went off to
The Kansas City Art Institute it was to become a painter like him,
until the chance exposure to ceramics lead her into the pottery shop
where Ken Ferguson and Victor Babu were teaching. The great creativity,
passion and energy of that place and time lead to a lifetime commitment
to clay.

Both pieces are cool. I suspect her work goes for a pretty penny.

I think these are interesting. It seems to me they would display better as undecorated pottery shapes. I'm not sure less is more or not.
