Bitossi Art Studio Lamp
Submitted by MozART on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 12:14am
This
ceramic lamp is by Bitossi Art Studios in Florence Italy. The Bitossi Studio began in 1921, making ceramic roof tiles,
floor tiles and art pottery. After WWII they became a glaze supply
company. This lamp is a beautiful example of their work and was made from the late 60s to early 70s.

...and a rare example.
Re: Bitossi Art Studio Lamp
I can never leave behind a lamp and took this one home based on a hunch. It's taken me a year to identify it. I think it may have had a wood base at one time as the one I found like it has one.
Re: Bitossi Art Studio Lamp
I can relate. Think I have more with no ID than with in my collection.
Re: Bitossi Art Studio Lamp
It's a gorgeous base and I love how you set the scene.

Thank you, that's just our back yard. It's a tiny garden patio. Less mowing that way.
