Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
Holy horse or whatever it is! Cool.
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
Kids are always riding skateboards all over the thing in Daley Plaza. And you're right...it's a horse, or something.
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
I always saw it as having the face of a baboon....but apparently (or so his grandson claimed) Picasso had a young woman with a pony tail in mind.
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
A young cyclop woman.
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
What a neat piece.
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
I could swear I saw one of these on Antiques Roadshow! Can't remember the $$ range but I don't think it was chaep!
Now if I could only find the Calder mobile one woman had...half a mil minimum!
Great piece, BTW. What a find!
Re: 1967 Chicago Picasso replica
Thanks. I have seen these at Antique malls go for a pretty penny as well.
