Donut and Hamburger Diner Coffee Cups
Dunkin' Donuts, Amy Joy, Mister Donut, Spudnut, Whimpy and White Tower are just a few of the thousands of donut and hamburger joints that served a steamin' hot cup-a-joe. These thick-walled, durable coffee cups were manufactured by Syracuse, Wellsville, Meyer, Wallace and Jackson, among many other pottery companies that made restaurant dinnerware. Although, I love all of these coffee cups like children (and I have many more not shown), my favorite is the Amy Joy cup in the center.

Diner Cups
Thanks for displaying part of your diner coffee cup collection Scott. It's great fun to see these restaurant logos. What's the full slogan used on the Whimpy cup? Part of it looks like ". . . .the glorified hamburger"? BTW, that Amy Joy sells donuts like there's no tomorrow -- very cute and cool.
Whimpy
On the Whimpy cup "the glorified hamburger" is repeated twice around the rim. I have a later Amy Joy coffee cup, with a "modernized" donut girl, but it's not nearly as cute as the one in the photo.
