Morgantown "Cosmopolitan" smoked glass candleholders
Morgantown Glass Guild slant top candle vase from their "Cosmopolitan" line, in Steel Blue - 7" tall, 4" at the widest point of the bowl, ground rim.

Nice find subversivegirl! These are iconic Morgantown mid-century production. Part of a console set. I think the line was called Cosmopolitan.

Ah, I knew someone here would come thru for me - thought the color looked right for Morgantown, but I've never seen anything of theirs (in person, anyway) other than stemware/tumblers.

Every time I look at this photo, the left one seems like it's levitating about three inches above the surface. Think I've had enough caffeine. Glad you have a successful ID.

That's because it is - sort of. I put it up on one of those cheap clear plastic punch cups and retouched the pic a little so it didn't show as much.
