Lotus Pattern Enamelware Coffee Pot
I picked up this Cathrineholm coffee pot while thrifting yesterday. It was designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and made in Norway sometime in the 1960s.

Wonderful! Jealous. This color is particularly nice.

Re: Cathrineholm
Fantastic! And just for clarification, the shape was designed by Kittelson. The decoration was not. Lotus was designed by a Cathrineholm factory worker named Arne Ingemann Clausen.
Re: Cathrineholm
Thanks for the clarification, Scott.
I am curious what kind of coffee this pot makes? It has no inner basket; only some straining holes from the main body to the spout. I guess officially it's closer to a campfire coffee boiler pot, where you boil the ground coffee direct in the pot. In any case, I sure that it makes a cup 'o Joe that will curl (or straighten) your hair!
