California Aztec

This Aztec handled covered casserole has to be the wildest shape of mid-century modern dinnerware ever created! The handle on this casserole is reminiscent of pelvic skeletal anatomy. With the tip of the casserole toward you, it looks like a long cartoon face. This piece is both outrageously modern and subtly prehistoric.
