I had to share this with you. I found it at a little This 'n That shop in Ravenna, Ohio, just outside of Kent (near Akron).
There are no markings on any of the inserts or the aluminum base.
The ceramic pieces are more blue-green than shown here. This piece is massive when opened to its full size; rather like a peacock displaying its feathers it nearly doubles in dimension.
