About 10 weeks ago, the modish.net server was upgraded to a sleeker, faster operating system. At about the same time, several functions--like permitting new people (about 60) to join modish--became inoperable. Due to overwhelming work obligations, it may take some time for me to get things back in order. In the meantime, I have created a Facebook presence for modish.net, it is called Mid-Century Modern Dinnerware. I invite everyone to also gather there for discussions and posting latest finds. Although it was just created recently, it already has 70 some members.

Welcome to modish!

Modish is a social-networking community of good-spirited, modern design enthusiasts. Recent finds and collections are shared in a format resembling show & tell. The site is an ever-expanding resource on 20th century modern design. Posts on all forms of vintage modern design are welcome.

We look forward to your active participation.

Coffee Pot

I remember the first time I found this shape many years ago. I had no idea who made the coffee pot, but I liked the abstract decoration I had found on the pot.
