Hello from the Midwest. I have worked in many creative areas and find collecting Mid-century pieces an extension of my own creative pursuits. MODish has been a wonderful place to share and catalog images and information. I could spend hours here just reading and learning. Sometimes I find the most unique items in the most unusual places. There's nothing more enjoyable then making that discovery. Isn't that what it's about? Maybe it's just the thrill of the hunt that hooks us, but for myself it goes beyond that. It's also about the history of the item. Our summer place is my Mid-century retreat. Every season I sell some of our collection and replace it with new items. It's like having a new place every summer and a new history project.
