1956 Rogers Bros Flair Coffee Set: Before & After
I was on a business trip to Indiana when I saw the familiar blue and white letters: "Goodwill." Took a stroll inside and found this coffee set. I didn't know if it would clean up nicely or not, but for the price I took a chance on it and rescued it. Glad I did!

Very Hollywood! nice job.

I've always loved the instant gratification a little silver polish and elbow grease provides. Great rescue!

That is a terrific looking set both before and after!

I'd be interested to hear how you dealt with the reed-covered handle when polishing - I'd be nervous about gooping it up. Also, what kind of polish do you use? I've tried a couple and have never been entirely satisfied.

I used Wieman's Silver Polish, albeit very sparingly near the handle.
